In 2018, the WHO’s Expert Committee on Drug Dependence presented the results of the first-ever
review of cannabis and cannabis-related substances, which was undertaken at the formal request of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND).13 The review resulted in the six recommendations that will be up for vote at the CND, after several delays, in December 2020.
